Washed Kaolin:White thin flake crystalline powder, greasy, earthy taste.  Relative density 2. 58.  PH (20% water suspension)3.8 ~ 7.5.  Mohs hardness is 2.  Oil absorption rate 40% ~ so%.  The average particle size is 0.5 ~ 1um, and the maximum free water is 1.0%.  Slightly soluble in hydrochloric-acid and acetic acid at room temperature, easily dispersed in water or other liquids.  Easy to disperse, good covering performance, high whiteness.  It has good plasticity and high adhesion, excellent electrical insulation, strong ion adsorption and weak cation exchange.

Application

Washed Kaolin has the characteristics of high whiteness, good particle size distribution and good covering ability.  Used in paper industry coated paper, coated paper, whiteboard paper, corrugated paper and coating, can improve the whiteness, smoothness, opacity and gloss of the product and other properties.  Rubber industry used as a functional filler, can partially replace white carbon black, play a role in strengthening and reducing costs.
