Potassium sulphate is an important chlorine--free potassium fertilizer containing sulfur and potassium. The general content is 50%52%, and the S content is about 18%. Pure potassium sulfate is a colorless crystal, and the appearance of agricultural potassium sulfate is mostly pale yellow. Potassium sulfate is a good water-soluble potassium fertilizer because of its low moisture absorption, non-caking, good physical properties and convenient application. Potassium sulfate is especially suitable for cash crops that are resistant to chlorine- and like potassium, such as tobacco, grapes, beet, tea, potatoes, flax and various fruit trees. It is also the main raw material for making chlorine--free nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium ternary compound fertilizer. Potassium sulfate is a chemical neutral and physiological acidic fertilizer, which is suitable for a variety of soils (excluding flooded soils) and crops. When applied to the soil, potassium ions can be directly absorbed and utilized by crops or adsorbed by soil colloids. The application of potassium sulfate to cruciferous crops and other crops requiring more sulphur- in sulphur--deficient soils has a better effect

Potassium sulfate is the basic raw material for making various potassium salts such as potassium carbonate and potassium persulfate-.Glass industry used as a clarifier. The dye industry is used as an intermediate. Spices industry used as auxiliaries. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is also used as a laxative to treat soluble barium salt poisoning. Potassium sulfate is commonly used in agriculture as potash fertilizer, potassium oxide content of 50%, commonly known as "white Gary".
