Magnesium stearate is white and easily sandless fine powder.  Slightly smelly;  Creamy in contact with skin.  This product is insoluble in water, ethanol or ether, mainly used as lubricant, anti-viscosity agent, flow aid agent.  It is especially suitable for granulation of oil and extractum, and the granulation has good fluidity and compressibility.  Used as a flow aid in direct compression tablets.  It can also be used as filter aid, clarification agent and bubble drop agent, as well as suspension agent and thickening agent of liquid preparations.
