Trisodium phosphate chemical formula Na3PO4·12H2O. Colorless to white acicular crystal or crystalline powder, dodecahydrate melting point 73.4°C. Soluble in water; Insoluble in ethanol, carbon disulfide. It is easily deliqued and weathered in dry air to produce sodium dihydrogen phosphate and sodium bicarbonate.
