Cetyl alcohol is an organic compound with a molecular formula of C16H34O, which is used as a solvent or in the production of surfactants, and is widely used in daily chemicals, personal care, fabric washing, fabric softening, anti-corrosion, printing and dyeing auxiliaries, foaming agents and other industries.

Application of cetyl alcohol

1. Used in shampoo and hair care formulations, as a smoothing agent of hair conditioner, hairdressing gel, shampoo and other hair care products, a kind of anti-winding material.
2. Used in detergent industry, such as bubble baths, sensitive skin preparations, child detergent or laundry detergent, but also for the softener/antistatic agent of fiber/fabric.
