Guar gum is soluble in cold and hot water, but insoluble in oil, grease, hydrocarbon, ketone and ester.  Aqueous solution is odorless, odorless, non-toxic and neutral.  Because the solution contains a small amount of fiber and cellulose, light gray translucent shape. It also shows high viscosity in water.  Its viscosity varies depending on particle size, pH value and temperature. It is compatible with other vegetable gums, starch and water-soluble proteins.  It is made of guar bean seeds by grinding, sieving, blowing to remove skin, germ, endosperm and other processes.  Used as thickener, flocculant, flotation agent, film forming agent and sizing agent, etc.

Application

Guar gum, mainly divided into food grade and industrial grade (oil field use belongs to industrial grade) .   At low concentration, highly viscous solution can be formed.  Due to its unique properties, it has been used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, personal health care, petroleum, armyworm, paper making and textile printing and dyeing industries. 
1.In oil fracturing, drilling and other thickening purposes;
