Alkyl benzene sulfonic acid refers to a class of molecules, such as R-C6H4(benzene ring)-SO3H general formula, R is generally 10~20 hydrocarbons, can be straight chain, can also be branched chain. The representative dodecyl benzene sulfonate is an important anionic surfactant, commonly used as a raw material for various detergents or for the production of linear alkyl benzene sulfonate sodium salts, ammonium salts and ethanolamine- salts.
