Calcium chloride is a chemical substance composed of chlorine- and calcium. The chemical formula is CaCl2, slightly bitter. It is a typical ionic halide, which is white, hard fragments or particles at room temperature. Its common applications include brine used in refrigeration equipment, road ice melting agent and desiccant.

Application

 

1, used as a multi-purpose desiccant, building antifreeze agent. It is used as defogging agent and road dust collecting agent and fabric fireproof agent in port. Used as protective agent and refining agent for aluminum and magnesium metallurgy. It is a precipitant for the production of lake pigments. Used for waste paper processing deinking. It is the raw material for the production of calcium salt.

2. Chelating agent; Curing agent; Calcium fortifier; Refrigerant for freezing; Desiccant agent; Anti-caking agent; Antimicrobial agent; Curing agent; Tissue improver.

3, used as desiccant, road dust collecting agent, spray agent, fabric fireproof agent, food preservative and used in the manufacture of calcium salt.

4. Used as lubricant additive.

5. Used as analytical reagent.

6. It is mainly used for the treatment of tetany, urticaria, exudative edema, intestinal and ureteral colic, magnesium poisoning and so on caused by the decrease of blood calcium.
