Function:

For the blood volume expansion drug, it has the function of increasing plasma colloid osmotic pressure, increasing plasma volume and maintaining blood pressure, preventing red blood cell and platelet aggregation, reducing blood viscosity, thus improving microcirculation.  This product is mainly excreted through the kidney, and its excretion speed is related to the molecular weight.  When the human body after 1 hour, medium, low and small molecule dextran excreted from urine respectively about 30%, 50%, 70%;  After 24 hours, about 60%, 70% and 80% were excreted respectively.

 Application:

 Dextran, a medium molecule commonly used in clinical practice, is mainly used as a plasma substitute for hemorrhagic shock, traumatic shock and burn shock.  Low and small molecule dextran can improve microcirculation, prevent or eliminate erythrocyte aggregation and thrombosis in blood vessels, and also expand blood volume, but the effect is shorter than medium molecule dextran.  Used for various shock caused by microcirculation disorders, diffuse intravascular coagulation, angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction and other peripheral vascular diseases.
