It can be used for leather making, explosives, paper making, porcelain, fertilizer, and oral laxative in medical treatment.  Mineral water additives.  Magnesium sulfate is used as a fertilizer in agriculture because magnesium is one of the main components of chlorophyll.  It is usually used in potted plants or magnesium deficient crops such as tomatoes, potatoes, roses, etc.  Magnesium sulfate has the advantage of being more soluble than other fertilizers.  Magnesium sulfate is also used as a bath salt.

Application

Magnesium sulfate is used in a wide range of applications such as tanning, explosives, paper, porcelain, fertilizers, and medical oral laxatives.
The main applications of magnesium sulfate in agriculture are:
(1)Magnesium sulphate contains two essential nutrients, sulfur and magnesium, which are necessary for crops. Magnesium sulphate not only increases the yield of crops, but also improves the taste of crop fruits.(2) Because magnesium is a component of chlorophyll and pigment, it is the only metal element in chlorophyll molecules. Magnesium promotes photosynthesis and promotes the formation of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
