Sodium formate (English name Sodium formate; (also known as sodium formate), the crystal contains two crystal water, so it is also known as sodium dihydrate, sodium dihydrate, sodium dihydrate formateate (Sodiumformatehydrate).  Its aqueous solution is alkaline. In the leather industry, it is used as a camouflage acid in the chromium tannery process, as a catalyst and stabilizing synthetic agent, and as a reducing agent in the printing and dyeing industry.

Application

For the leather industry, the main uses are as follows:

(1) Mainly used in the production of formic acid-, oxalic acid and insurance powder, etc., and also used in the production of dimethylformamide. Also used in printing and dyeing industry. ;

(2) Used as reagents, disinfectants and mordants for the determination of phosphorus and arsenic-;

(3) Used as a preservative. Use 4: For alkyd resin coating, plasticizer, strong;

(4) Used as acid-resistant materials, aviation lubricating oil, adhesive additives.
